Adult/Pediatric CPR For The First Responder -
(4
hours)
Includes adult, child, and infant CPR, rescue breathing, and choking
protocols using International ILCOR guidelines (2010).
Medical
Professional CPR - ( 5 hours)
Comparable to the American Heart Association
"Health Care Provider C course" or the American Red Cross "CPR
for the professional rescuer" course. Follows International ILCOR guidelines
(2010).
AED Training - (2 hours)
Specific, customized instruction for your AED. This course has
been designed to meet the requirements of State Colorado for AED
implementation.
Adult First Aid -(4 hours)- covers adult emergency scenarios
using nationally recognized emergency medical resources. Approved by the
Colorado Department of Health-EMS Division for continuing education credit.
Pediatric First Aid - (4 hours)
Written to address child emergencies.
Approved by Arizona, California, Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico, Utah,
Iowa, Oklahoma, Florida, Missouri, Nevada, and Illinois childcare
licensing agencies to meet state standards in licensed childcare centers
and homes. Pending approval in New York, Ohio, West Virginia, and Indiana.

Universal Precautions - (1.5 hours)
Complies with the OSHA Bloodhorne
Pathogen law of 1992 for training in the workplace.
Sport Medic First Aid -
(4 hours)- Designed for coaches and trainers to cover specific sport
injuries. Reviewed and endorsed by Dr. Aaron Provance and Dr. Rachel
Coel, co-directors of the Sports Medicine Department at Childrens
Hospital-Colorado and the Colorado High School Activities
Association (CHSSA). Meets new Colorado state concussion law (CO.Senate
Bill 40).

Law Enforcement First Responder - developed for the Colorado
State Patrol for CPR and First Aid certification. Uses scenarios
most likely to be encountered by a law enforcement officer. Post
Officer Standard and Training (POST) approved.

CHILD SAFETY TRAINING
Kids Aid Junior - (30 minutes)
Teaches 911 call, car
safety, fire safety, poison safety, water safety, gun safety and other
prevention techniques in an interactive 'kid friendly" atmosphere. *Preschool-Kindergarten
Kids Aid Intermediate - (45 minutes - 1 hour)
Expands on the above
topics using more detail and age appropriate examples * 1st-3rd grade
Kids
Aid Senior - (5 hours)
2.5 hours of Adult CPR in one module then 2.5
hours of basic First Aid. Information only not for certification. *4th-8th
grade
KidWatch - (5 hours)
Developed for children who are beginning to babysit for others. Course
includes information on developmental stages, general guideline for rescue
breathing and choking, procedures to deal with separation anxiety,
feeding, diapering, and sample parent information cards. A pediatric first
aid text is included as an additional handout.
